Mera Peak Climbing Highlights
- Experience the soul-stirring view from the Mera Peak Summit as you celebrate your epic feat.

- Pass through Sherpa villages and lush forests with bamboo trees and rhododendrons.
- Deeper cultural and spiritual exploration by hiking to the Monastery and puja experience.
Firstly climbed by Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing in 1953, Mera Peak has attracted thousands of novice and experienced climbers ever since. Imagine standing where Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing once did.
The trek to base camp is equally challenging (if not more) and rewarding as the summit phase. Embark on a trekking and climbing journey to Mera Peak if you want to detour away from the classic EBC trekking trail and explore more regions of the Khumbu region.
Our 18-day Mera Peak climbing trip begins by prepping for the trip ahead. We take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek through Paiya, Panggom, Ningsow, Chhatra Khola, Kothe, Thaknak, and Khare. You will then embark on your epic journey to Mera Peak High Camp and eventually to the summit in one final push.
We like to keep every climbing team small and the trip personalized. Sublime Trails takes no more than 8 members in a team. Our ideal team of climbers is experienced with high-altitude trekking or moderate-difficulty climbing beforehand. Nonetheless, with our qualified crew of mountaineering guides, Mera Peak can be your first Himalayan climb.
