Nagarkot Sunrise and Day Hiking Tour is a pleasant day tour that starts from Kathmandu in the early morning. Our private vehicle takes you to Nagarkot before sunrise. Changu Narayan is one of the oldest temples in Nepal and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This temple has typical Newari architecture with some similarities of the Shikhara and Pagoda style. Various other temples of Lord Shiva, Ashta Matrika, Chhinnamasta, Kileshwor, and Krishna surround it. Life-sized statues of lions and elephants are kept as guards at the doors of the temple.

Optional sightseeing in Bhaktapur offers you the opportunity to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another world heritage site enlisted by UNESCO. This ancient Malla King’s palace is popular for its amazing architecture and historical significance.     Our representative you pick you up at your hotel in Kathmandu at around 4:00 in the morning. On a private vehicle, you will leave for this popular viewpoint for sunrises and mountain views.

    You will reach Nagarkot before sunrise and see the sunrise gradually from behind the mountains. You will have your breakfast while enjoying the golden sun over while mountains.

    Walking through the village of Nagarkot, you will get to see green forests, small villages, and cultivated lands. A few hours of hiking through graveled road takes you to Changu Narayan temple. This temple at the hilltop showcases amazing Malla architecture. 

    After completing Nagarkot to Changu Narayan day hike, you will rest for a while as you have your lunch there. The whole town is beautiful as it is surrounded by other small temples and forests. 

    On the way back to Kathmandu, you have an option to go sightseeing in Bhaktapur. There are other various temples and places of historical importance within Bhaktapur and depending upon the time left and how tired you are, you can visit one or many of these places. While you are at Bhaktapur, you can also try the famous curd named Juju Dhau.

      beautiful memory of Nepal

      I had come to Kathmandu for my business meeting with my husband for  3 days. We didn't have enough time to visit many places yet wanted to go somewhere to refresh our mind. We googled some nearby places and booked Nagarkot Tour with Sublime Trails. We had been to Nagarkot, early in the morning and the view of the sunrise was spectacular. The mountains look clear and amazing that i could not believe there was this amazing place near Kathmandu! We spent the day around Shivapuri park which was so beautiful. I will always remember this experiene, thank you sublime trails for this amazing experience!!
