Everest BC and Island Peak treck - amazing experience

We were a group of 3 guys doing a treck in the Himalayas. The experience with Sublime Trails and specifically Ram was amazing. He was answering all our questions already the long time before coming and we knew everything is in good hands which is quite important when you travel to Nepal for the first time (permits, equipment, etc.). Ram was able to give us a very experienced guide and it paid off already on the first day when the flights were not flying but we were able to take a helicopter to Lukla instead (for a small fee). Also, he arranged us a sherpa going with us to Island Peak. The Sherpa was very experienced, 7 times on Everest and it was a very good experience as well. In the end, Ram invited us for a dinner and asked us what he can do better which was a nice touch at the end. Overall superb experience!

Strangers to friends, truly a memorable Annapurna Base Camp trek for all of us!

Signed up for the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Sublime Trails after a friend's recommendation as they have experience bringing Singapore JC students for trekking trips. Ram replies very promptly to my emails and multiple questions before the trip. He even came to pick the five of us up personally when we touched down in Kathmandu.

Some of my friends were worried about the trek as this was the first time they are trekking and what's more, such a long duration and altitude but our worries were unfounded.

Guide Hari, (we call him "Mr. Hari") met us at Pokhara as he just completed a poonhill trek. Even so, he was still very energetic and started to brief us about the trek and ensure we got everything we need. He even brought us to buy some trekking stuff the next day.

Throughout the whole trek, Mr. Hari is very knowledgeable about the mountains, pointing out the various peaks to us as we climb (Annapurna I, Annapurna south, fishtail, himchuli etc.). His trekking pace was also very good so that we don't get burnt out easily.

You have to pay for wifi at the teahouses, and because sometimes they were not working due to the weather, we decided to be disconnected from the outside world. Thought it will be boring but Mr. Hari will always try to entertain us, sharing with us his experience, Nepali history, culture and even thought us how to play some of their local card games. Will recommend everyone not to buy the wifi and immerse yourself into the beautiful mountains!

Don't expect very nice food in the mountains. Food was decent, we had dal baht almost every meal as there's a saying: Dah baht power 24 hours! unlimited refill of rice, dahl, and potatoes. We also had noodles, momo, pizza, omelet, bread, and soup. Mr. Hari always makes sure we have enough food to eat and he will advise when we should avoid meat as they may not be fresh. All of us felt that we gained weight during the trek!

One of our friends sprained his ankle during the 3rd day of the trek and our assistant guide Suman was very caring, trekking patiently beside him, making sure he doesn't fall again. He also carried the fruits throughout the trek so that we have cut fruits every night.

Shoutout to our porters too, Bibeck and Gongga who carried our heavy trekking bags and sleeping bags. Though they can't speak English well to us, they tried to communicate in their own way with us, always looking very cheerful.

The view at Annapurna Base Camp was spectacular and breathtaking! Pictures don't do justice to the place, you got to be there to experience the beauty of the Himalayans!

Overall, we had lots of fun and laughter, took many beautiful pictures and most importantly, made great memories during the whole trek. Will definitely recommend Sublime trails to everyone and hope to be back soon!!!

Great views of Mt. Everest and amazing trek

If you ware looking to have a fun time with your friends and family while trekking in Nepal then look no further than Sublime trails. Nepal is comparatively safer than many other places I have travelled but still, you have to bo careful on your part. If you end up with a less experienced or rude people to plan your holidays, it will be all ruined. That's why I did all my research and talked to ram several times asking him questions about lot of things. But, he was polite and answered all of them. I decided to travel with them after contacting few of other companies who were either too expensive or not enough caring. When I remmeber my trip to Nepal, I can't help but wonder if it would be the same if I had travelled alone or just chosen things carelessly.

    Great trip to Nepal

Highly recommended. My travel to Nepal is one of the most incredible memories I bring in my hearth. Nature is outstanding and the mountains are so powerful.
Ram was a great guide, highly organised, flexible and really competent.
Can't desire any better. Really an outstanding experience.

Memorable ABC trek with Sublime Trails

The boss, Ram, is very friendly and hospitable. He picked us up from the airport personally when we first arrived at Kathmandu and ensured that we had the equipment required for the trek before the start of our trek. After our trek, he also hosted a farewell dinner for us and gathered feedback regarding our trip so as to improve future trek planning. His effort is notable.

Our guide, Mr. Hari, is witty and humorous. He is also very knowledgeable about the trek and the different mountains, giving us good advice and information along the trek. He also set a good pace for us, thus making the trek more manageable. Thanks to Mr. Hari, we were very entertained throughout the trip even though there was no wifi. I'll definitely miss the days when we played cards, did poser shots and shared cultural and historical exchanges in the mountains. As we had a few more days in Kathmandu after the trek, he kindly shared with us the various places of attraction that we could go. Eventually, we decided to go Nagarkot and Ram was very nice to help us arrange transportation and accommodation even though we informed him quite late.

A very big thank you to our assistant guide, Suman, and our porters, Bibeck and Gonga, for carrying our backpacks and all the assistance provided during the trip!

From jungle trails to glacier walks, we experienced different types of terrain while trekking to ABC. Along the way, the views that greeted us were awesome! Can never get enough of the rolling greens and snow-capped mountains!

Really appreciate the efforts from the Sublime Trails team in making our ABC trek a memorable and amazing one! Would highly recommend Sublime Trails!

    Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Did the 9 days ABC trek with Sublime Trails and had a really wonderful experience! The boss, Ram, was very welcoming and picked us up from the airport on our day of arrival. He also hosted a farewell dinner for us after we returned from the trek which was a really good effort on his part.

The 9 days trek was well paced by our guide, Mr. Hari who was witty and fun! He is super knowledgeable about the mountains and recommended us places to go in the city as well. Really thankful for having an amazing team of guides and porters with us which helped to make the journey up the mountains a safe and memorable one!!

Would definitely return for a 2nd trekking trip with Sublime Trails

    3rd Time Manaslu Circuit Trek

I had trekked with Sublime Trails in the Annapurna Region and the Everest region before. As I love trekking in solitude to really remote places, I asked them for a beautiful trekking destination where there are not many travelers. That is when they suggested the Manaslu Trek for me.

With very few trekkers in the region, the trails were as fresh as they could be. Modernity had not touched this region. Therefore it felt like I was having a good time in the wilderness of nature. The villages had maintained their authenticity and preserved their ancient culture as well.

My experience of trekking helped as the Manaslu trek was a tad more difficult than the EBC or ABC trek. The government also requires you to have a guide with you compulsorily. As Sublime Trails told me that this trek is strenuous, I also took a porter with me. Both of them were gentlemen with great trekking experience.

My stay was arranged in the best lodges in this region. The food was also great. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I am looking forward to go to other peaceful destinations in Nepal in the future with Sublime Trails. If you are interested in trekking in Nepal, I’m sure you will fall in love with the services of Sublime Trails.

    Beautiful Pilgrimage Tour

It was an amazing tour with my family this April. We visited all the major sacred places in Kathmandu and Nepal and we also had helicopter tour to Muktinath. Sublime Trails managed everything perfectly. It was hard finding a vegeterian lodge in Kathmandu and Pokhara by ourselves. But they put all the effort into finding one for us. The tour guide was also very friendly and cheerful and he also would speak Hindi very well. My mom loved his company so much.
