You will trek through ice flows and cliffs to reach the Thorong La pass. You will start the trip from Kathmandu with a scenic 8-hour drive to Chamje along lush green hills. Day 3 of the trip is the first trekking day, marked by a pleasant hike through the Marshyangdi River, refreshing waterfalls, and suspension bridges to Dharapani. The subsequent days involve trekking to Chame and then to Pisang with the views getting better every day.
Afterward, the trek from Pisang to Manang Valley on the sixth day is distinctive because of the picturesque views of Manang Valley and Tilicho Peak (7145 m). The meditative Manang Valley has a lot to offer, and you'll get enough places to hang around, have fun, and soak up the local culture on your rest day on Day 7.
You will then set off for Yak Kharka the next day with desirous views of Gangapurna, Glacier Dom, Tilicho Peak, Chulu West, Manaslu range, and the entire Annapurna range. The next day, you will trek to the pilgrimage site of Muktinath via the Thorung La Pass (5416 m), both highlights in their own right.
After exploring the Muktinath temple, 108 water sprouts, and the surroundings, you will set off on an epic drive to Jomsom. Also known as Dzongsam, Jomsom is a quaint little mountainous town with amazing scenery, cozy shops, and colorful houses. Finally, you will fly back to the beautiful city of Pokhara for adventures of your choice before leaving for Kathmandu.
The Annapurna Circuit Trek offers a truly immersive experience and is alluring to beginners and experienced trekkers alike. It is a moderate to fairly challenging trek and does require preparation beforehand.
