The Everest region, known locally as the Khumbu, is home to the world’s best-known trek. Our classic 14-day Everest Base Camp trek walks from Lukla through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche and Dingboche to Base Camp at 5,364 m and Kala Patthar at 5,545 m, with two acclimatization days built in. With less time, the 7-day short trek shortens the journey, and the 9-day trek with helicopter return lets you walk up and fly back. If you would rather skip the walking, the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour is a one-day flight to the Everest area. The luxury trek offers more comfortable lodges.
